Your exhibition sounds, and looks, wonderful! I’d love to see it, however, living half a world away is somewhat of a barrier, so I’ll have to make do with looking at the photos…sigh…
Thank you Rhonda! Completely understandable you can’t make it 😄 !! The open weekend went really well, nearly all over now. The pieces are on the wall, but only for another week before we take it all down. Loads of interest! Nothing like this (embroidery/textiles) has happened locally before.
hope your exhibition was a success, I am sure it was, your pieces are so lovely, you have such a joyous sense of colour and in spite of injured fingers, YOU DID IT!I remember stitching through my finger when I was about 12 making a costume out of foil, this was on a Singer hand machine. My father had just sewn me how to sew, so I could turn his collars for him

It will be okay on the day!! How many times have you heard that…………. when you are buried in piles of lists and other important (🙄) stuff!! I would love to come to your exhibition but I’m a bit far away. I hope it’s packed daily and your sales are through the roof!! 😂🤣
Or just go straight for the nail varnish and skip the acupuncture?! I’ve only painted my toenails regularly, I’ve not painted my fingernails since I was about 17 (probably black or purple). I'm feeling all edgy and rebellious 😎
Brilliant and funny writing, as always Izzy. I have had every intention of coming with a friend, but am laid low with a virus and almost total deafness! I’m on yet another medication - if it works by Saturday I will come! Good luck, it’ll be great and the poster is great too.

😅 many of us go through this process each time we have an exhibition...and trying to do better the next time...when we do exactly the same...artists and organising never seems to go together...I love how you wrote it all down as if you were talking about all of us who go through this...I wish you a great exhibition and sales too. 🙏🎊🎉👍
